Lead Interaction ArchitectRole: Manage timelines, resources, and communication across multiple teams/stakeholders, UI Design, UX Design, Visual Design, Branding and Identity, maintain project documentation.
Product: Web Platform that enables one to evaluate insightful signals in a unified way. Signals can be generated from one's computer, surroundings, and biometric wearable devices. Result: Successful deployment, utilized by research teams within Logitech Inc., Switzerland Headquarters to gain insights about their personal data. Organized and hosted the first-ever “biohacking” themed Hackathon at Logitech Headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland in Autumn of 2022, powered by the Chronometric Platform. Platform: Web |

Objective
|
|
To create software that allowed developers and folks working in the tech industry & data heavy environments to use data from insightful signals, some already existing around them, to learn about when they are 'In the Flow' and evolve their working style and environment in order to achieve Flow more easily and effectively for better productivity and overall wellness.

Process

To begin, gotomedia conducted user research with developers on our behalf to better understand their receptiveness to the concept and the relationship between work and wellness.
The specific goals were to:
The user study revealed that approximately 90% of participants were interested in using the concept. Data showed that the idea to optimize and analyze effectiveness and core features such as integration with wearables to track biometrics, were a high priority. The study also revealed specific participant concerns that were key in the development moving forward such as privacy and user control of notifications. This informed our serious focus on user data security and purposeful and customizable notifications. As Design Lead and Senior Interaction Designer, I collaborated with the Design Director, Engineering, Research teams and the CTO to analyze the data, synthesize study results, identify personas, and maintain alignment with business objectives in order to move forward with data-informed wireframes to begin. Continual review, design, testing, and iteration sessions followed, including a live “biohacking” themed Hackathon at Logitech Headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. Engineers and developers teamed up to author and build the signal of their choice, then present their learnings and experience to the larger group. The findings from this experience were extremely valuable and informed subsequent product design decisions. |

|
The Chronometric Beta was launched successfully in the product timeline as planned within Logitech Inc., Switzerland Headquarters.
Metrics and subsequent user studies showed it was utilized by 35% of the research teams that participated in the Chrono-thon with focus on refining the signals they had built to have them ship within the app for the public launch. Continual user feedback via connection in the app informed subsequent design decisions such as refining the selection of key signals to track and the inclusion of webcam functionality. |

In App
Find the Rhythm to Your Day
The cloud-based framework supports features for designing a timeline that displayed signals of one's choice. The timeline can be customized by choosing and arranging Signals of one's choice. Chronometric engaged and executed partnerships with biometrics hardware partners such as Oura Ring, Fitbit, and others. One can also register personal Signals to mark when they were feeling "In The Zone" or "In A Fog," allowing them to measure their "Rhythm" along side the other signals they've chosen. An available SDK allows developers to create their own Signal Streams. |
