MICROZINES
​BRANDING, IDENTITY, TYPOGRAPHY, APP DESIGN

Zumobi's Microzine platform pulls in content from across a variety of websites and apps,
including Twitter and Instagram feeds, YouTube videos and blogs, creating an engaging
rich media experience that consumers can browse and shop, and brands can update in real-time.

I designed a custom typeface for the Microzine brand, created the logo and logotype
​and brand guidelines to be utilized throughout the product.

I was also involved in the conceptualization of the Microzines mobile app, generating wire-frames mapping the UI and UX design,
creating visual design mock-ups, finalizing the visual design, writing specification and providing
final assets to engineering all while maintaining 
branding consistency.

​I worked closely with engineering and marketing throughout development and testing up to the app shipping.​

THE ZUMOBI NETWORK​

The Zumobi Network helps companies amplify content marketing on mobile devices.
When I worked at Zumobi, we created apps for iOS and Android devices with curated ​content
from multiple sources often partnering with well-known brands.

I designed a custom typeface for the Zumobi brand, created the logo and logotype and brand guidelines.

Chris McMullen is an international artist who creates mechanical, interactive sculpture. 
Working closely with the artist, I was tasked with creating the 'Original Equipment' identity.

I also designed business cards, postcards, sculpture signature plates, exhibition collateral,
​and am taking care of video editing & production, as well as maintaining his website.

THE FIRM

The Firm is a Seattle collective of artisans that offer art fabrication and installation services.
I designed business cards, a website, door vinyl, t-shirts and postcards for them.

THE MACHINE

The Machine was a temporary, interactive sculpture created by a team of Seattle artists.

I designed the logo mark for the project, four fund-raising event invitations, event signage, posters, postcards,
bid sheets, t-shirts, business cards, a website and published a book documenting the entire project.
I worked with a colleague who shot all of the photographs and wrote the copy.
